Eat Like A King

Poppies participated in the King’s Coronation weekend festivities by extending an invitation for guests to ‘eat like a King’ with ‘golden’ chip forks given out to those who ordered a serving of Poppies fish and chips to take away.

The promotion was available to everyone who visited the Poppies Soho takeaway at 55 Old Compton Street on Saturday, May 6th. Those who shared a photo of their golden fork on Instagram, tagging @popsfishnchips and using the hashtag #EatLikeAKing, were automatically entered into a draw to win a sterling silver chip fork—a possession that even King Charles III would envy. Three winners were randomly selected from all qualifying posts and announced on Poppies’ Instagram platform.
