Live music at Poppies Camden

Poppies incredible Fish n Gigs events are our monthly treat for all Camden customers – free live music!

Camden’s musical legacy is well documented with the area particularly famous as being a hub for incredible live music. Iconic venues like The Roundhouse, Electric Ballroom, and KOKO have all hosted legendary artists and continue to be vital spaces for both established and emerging musicians to perform.

In honour of this incredible music history, each month we invite a talented band to come and entertain us and our customers with a live performance in our Camden restaurant. This is all totally free for customers dining at Poppies and it’s well worth booking ahead to secure your spot.

All the action starts from 7.30pm on the first Friday of the month.

This September, on Friday 5th, we bring you the Roy Pfeffer Trio with their New Orleans style jazz and funk music. Dine on your delicious fish and chips while immersing yourself in the groove of the music and marvelling at the skill of these performers playing live.

The details:

  • First Friday of the month
  • Music starts at 7.30pm
  • Free!
